Why in News?
The India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026 launched Viksit Tech 47 on 25 September 2026 as a platform to identify and support promising Indian technology companies and leaders. The initiative is associated with the 10th edition of India Mobile Congress, scheduled from 7 to 10 October 2026 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi.

India Mobile Congress is an annual technology event focused on telecommunications, digital infrastructure and emerging technologies. The 2026 edition marks the 10th edition of the event. The event provides a platform for technology companies, innovators, policymakers and industry stakeholders to showcase developments in India’s digital and technology ecosystem.

Viksit Tech 47 is designed to identify and support Indian technology companies with potential to develop into global technology brands. It covers a wide range of emerging and technology-intensive sectors, including:
