India is hosting the first-ever National Rural Development Conference on 28–29 June 2026 in New Delhi. The two-day national conclave is chaired by Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, under the theme “Viksit Gram, Viksit Bharat”. The conference aims to strengthen policy coordination, promote best practices, and accelerate inclusive rural development across the country.

The National Rural Development Conference 2026 is a nationwide platform that will bring together policymakers, Rural Development Ministers, senior government officials, and experts from all States and Union Territories. “Viksit Gram, Viksit Bharat”
