  • National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC): Uplifting women cooperatives engaged in various sectors such as food grain processing, plantation crops, fisheries, dairy & livestock, and more.
  • Schemes promoting women’s welfare: Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), Samagra Shiksha, Babu Jagjivan Ram Chhatrawas Yojna, Swacch Vidyalaya Mission, Swachchh Bharat Mission, etc.
  • Enhancing employability: Providing training to female workers through Women Industrial Training Institutes, National Vocational Training Institutes, and Regional Vocational Training Institutes.
  • Skill India Mission: Introducing skill development and vocational training for economic independence and empowerment of women.
  • Anganwadi Services under Mission Poshan 2.0: Universal scheme providing services to pregnant and lactating mothers, including the Supplementary Nutrition Programme (SNP).
  • Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY): Offers cash incentives in DBT mode to promote health-seeking behavior among pregnant and lactating mothers.
  • Swachchh Bharat Mission: Construction of over 11.00 crore toilets, reducing drudgery and care burden for women.
  • Ujjawala Yojana: Providing clean cooking gas connections to nearly 9.58 crore women below the poverty line.
  • Jal Jeevan Mission: Connecting over 12.59 crores rural households with tap drinking water connections.
  • PMGDISHA: Making 6 crore persons digitally literate, with over 53% beneficiaries being women.
  • ‘Mission Shakti’: Integrated Women Empowerment Programme with sub-schemes “Sambal” for safety and “Samarthya” for empowerment of women.
  • Hub for Empowerment of Women (HEW): Facilitates inter-sectoral convergence of schemes and programs for women’s empowerment.
  • 73rd and 74th Amendment to the Constitution: 1/3rd seats in Panchayati Raj Institutions reserved for women, approximately 46% elected women representatives.
  • National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM): Nearly 9.00 crore women connected with around 83.5 lakh women’s self-help groups transforming rural socio-economic landscape.
  • Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA): Mandates at least one-third of the jobs generated should be given to women.
