Since its inception, the International Gita Mahotsav has expanded far beyond India. It has been celebrated in Mauritius, Britain, Canada, Australia, Sri Lanka and Japan.

- Participation from 51 countries.
- A three-day International Gita Seminar (24–26 November) at Kurukshetra University with 25 scholars from 16 countries.
- Priests from Fiji and Trinidad & Tobago performing special rituals.
- Artisans from seven countries displaying traditional crafts.
